recently had an issue with ignition coil with my Astra H (2nd one in 5 yrs) ..brought it to united motors... their Tech 2 was not working but Francis was very helpful and sourced one unit from a nearby mechanic and pinpointed the problem and get the repair done fast. Price was pretty reasonable , only had to pay a little more for the diagnostic charges since he had to use one borrowed from another workshop.

Francis told that they are able to get all parts for Opel, if not in stock they can also ship in parts for repair.

Even AE did not have the ignition coil pack in stock when it happened the first time 2 yrs ago..

so all Opel / conti cars.. give United motors a try if u want alternative to AE ...etc..

symptom .. the car just started to move slowly and strong vibration felt on the whole car...when u accelerate ..it doesnt seem to move fast enough . Luckily i was on the way to tampines..so manage to drive straight to United...but it was sat evening so no spares were available so i left the car over the weekend...as it would not be wise to drive anymore...it may screw up your ECU and that will cost a bomb to replace.
