Honestly,
I find the price is reasonable. If you use other type of spark plug already cost $100, engine oil around $98 to $118:. Oil filter maybe around $10. Tyre rotatio n balancing with labour cost maybe around $30. So $209 for your service done I find its ok.
Did you changed your coolant water and the mta oil? I can't really remember that this have to be change during 40k or 80k servicing.

coolant water and mta oil?
bo leh, the mechanic also never ask me want to change or not.

but anyway, next svc which is 60k one..i think is going to burn a big hole.
was told by ah koon,
change the belts alone around $400.
+ change the above in my 45k servicing another $209.
+ change mta oil and coolant another $??

think have to set aside around min $800 for 60k svc. Shocked

anyway, got 1 ah pek there, dont know is he talkative/over friendly.
keep come and talk to me about their service very good and price is a fraction of AE.
who is he ah?ah koon lao bei?

Ok, my 40K service was with AE, it is FOC.
Reference from the service booklet, gearbox oil and coolant need to replace during 40K servicing.
During my previous 80K service with Koon, I bought my own OEM spark plug for SGD 100 and 3 bottles of antifreeze coolant from AE directly, SGD 11.58 each, recommended.
Cabin pollen air filter, I bought from Kian Hua Motor at Veerasamy Road for SGD22 and DIMyself.
Btw, you don't need to change the spark plug during 60K servicing, so safe $100. Wink
