Try this at Arab street facing the Sultan mosque and the "istana" Kampung Gelam.. .
what to order?
Ayam bakar
Tahu telur
Black Sotong
Rendang
White Rice
Home Made Lime Juice...
Where to sit?
Go to the upper deck, 2nd level. It's air conditioned and cozy. There's a staircase next to the cashier counter. Order your food and tell them to deliver to you on the 2nd level.

Hey! When were you there?
My office is nearby and I do go there about once a month cos its not cheap. 
But actually, you should try the one opposite and at the junction of North Bridge Road, can't remember the name but the taste and price is better. Only thing is no aircon seatings.  |

Been frequenting this place since my "pak toh" days some 10 yrs ago... once in a while.. I escape to this place with friends.. great place to chit-chat casually... it's been a while that I've been there... now that I work Woodlands.
Tried "sabar Menanti", " Warong Pariaman" and "Al Majlis" but still prefer this one.. I guess it's just me and my nostalgic and legacy moments each time I am there... .. haa haa. . |

Ya, Warong Pariaman is the one. Sabar is also damn ex and not sure of Al Majlis.
Maybe we can do a lunch meetup there...  But its hell looking for a parking lot during lunch hour.  |

What I usually do is to park at Golden Landmark. Take the car lift to top floor , plenty to park and then slowly walk there.. not that far after all.
perhaps someday when Towkay wants too...  |

If you can make that trip down, then can check with Towkay lor.
Normally, I will suggest park at the Plaza ParkRoyal and walk over instead.  |
